When you arrive at our crematorium in Stevenage you’ll find a large car park with 120 spaces, including disabled parking, four (22kw/h) electric vehicle charging points and just a short walk away is our comfortable waiting room.
This cosy space is separate from the chapel and vestibule, so you can have some privacy away from other mourners.
Four toilets, including two disabled access, are located at the waiting room and over at our church-view coffee lounge with sofas and hot drinks machine. It is set away from the main buildings for use by mourners who’ve arrived early for a service as well as those who are visiting the memorial gardens.
When you leave Harwood Park, the specially-designed one-way system means you can exit the crematorium without the potential distress of driving past hearses that are arriving for another funeral.

The services were both very good. One thing I like is that you can look out on Hertfordshire countryside rather than just look at the coffin whilst remembering the person who has passed away.
